An eco-friendly binder was prepared using liquid resin,anthracene oil, and viscosity reducers, and was used as a binder for taphole clay. The primary raw materials included brown fused alumina, silicon carbide, coke, kyanite, Guangxi clay, ferrosilicon nitride, and organic additives.
