Anindustrial-scalenumericalsimulation combining kinetics and fluid dynamics was conducted to study the evolution of MgO in slag caused by slag-refractory reactions during the refining process.Thefluidflowwassolvedusingthe Eulerian-Lagrangian multiphase approach.
