In order to reduce the effect of silicon carbide oxidation on material performance,mullite-silicon carbide refractory with low silicon carbide content and addition of ceramic fiber was prepared in air atmosphere and the properties of it were studied.In present paper,ceramic fiber was added into the mullite-silicon carbide refractory low silicon carbide content to preventing from the decrease of thermal shock resistance caused by lower silicon carbide.Microstructure of samples with ceramic fibers ...
