Industrial furnaces postulate the ability to deal with a combustion reaction, and for the reason, they have been considered negatively for long time as though they are one of the ringleaders who totally deteriorate the global environment. However, Japan is a technology-oriented and industry-oriented nation, so that there is no question as to the importance of facilities that are critical for the industry. In such back ground. technical predecessors of our country have developed antipollution and energy-saving global model and eventually created industry and environment balanced clean Japan. Our company also has pride in working on the development of industrial furnaces that is planned to save energy and reduce CO2 emission and in the contribution to the society mainly on aluminum industry over many years. Currently the need of technology lo improve thermal efficiency is becoming higher than ever. and authors of this paper realize very keenly that the new action from a quite different viewpoint is essential now.
