内容简介In our attempt to extend the life of the Al_2O_3-Cr_2O_3-ZrO_2 brick applied to a rotary kilo that incinerates and melts industrial waste, we had increased the Cr_2O_3 content from the initial 7 mass percent to 28 mass percent ~(1)). Rotary kilo linings are often damaged by shell stress. It is therefore important that the brick used for a rotary kilo is capable of Stress relaxation. In a previous paper, we reported that a dense, corrosion resistant brick for waste melting kilos could also be made capable of stress relaxation ~(2)). In the present paper, we report a considerable improvement in the kilo lining life by using a 28 mass percent Cr_2O_3 brick capable of stress relaxation.
