In Table 6, the evaluation test results of the present investigation are shown. Sample 3, with addition of raw material F and G, was ascertained to the best characteristic properties of thermal and mechanical spalling resistance. Sample 3 is scheduled to be installed in an actual large diameter kiln with expectations of improved performance.
